Tired of doctors

I am so tired and fed-up of visiting the doctor. Yes, that is how I feel at times and I am sure I am not alone. Visiting the doctor is great but there are times that you feel like you live in a doctor's office and the problem is not just that. The main problem starts when you are being referred to one doctor, who referred to the next and the chain continues without you getting much help, even though you are spending a lot of money because everybody is a specialist in something. As women, we cannot get away from the doctors, that much we know, but it can become very overbearing when you are faced with an issue that the doctors are trying to diagnose or you are looking for answers/directions as to what you should do and not getting satisfactory information. Are you like that? How are you coping? Where does your strength lies?

  1. Interesting that you bring this up, because my parents were opposites. As in, one runs to the doctor at every instance and the other waits until things get really bad before deciding to go. The result of which is that I find that I get a little anxious when I personally hear that another referral is needed. The strength lies in my discovery that my existence is not limited to this system of things and as such I believe whole-heartedly that there will be a time when all sickness and suffering will be removed from this earth. So all of this, although hard at times, is not permanent.
