What kept me going in the hospital as I awaited my myomectomy

Yesterday or last night rather I decided to share some videos, one of which was a success story of a lady with PCOS. It was just to encourage our hearts, that there is hope. Before you do any surgery or treatment, there are always a lot of questions and that is why I have this blog and encourage persons to post so that we can hear about your experience and answer some of our very own questions. What was the surgery like? How was it after? How soon did you have sex after? How long did you wait till you start trying? Keep following and I would keep publishing. It only takes one person to share and it would reach 10 thousands. Today I want to share a bit more about the things that kept me going while I laid in the hospital bed awaiting surgery. I am quite aware that all my readers might not be  Christians, but I am sure all can benefit from Christianity.

While on the bed, I had my bible with me and a small book. I took the book and I wrote down these following declaration and I repeated them daily up to the point of my surgery:

• I declare that I shall not die but live to declare the word of God. I believe I am doing that even now through my testimony
• I declare the surgery would be safe and successful in the name of Jesus
• I declare that I would have no need for blood transfusion following the surgery.
• I declare that no side effects would occur during or after the surgery
• I declare that I am strong in the Lord and the Power of his Might.
• I declare that I am healed from all past, present and future fibroids.
• I declare that I would have many children as the Lord will give me.
• I declare that no weapon formed against me shall prosper.

You would realize that these declaration has no structure or organization because I wrote them as they came to my mind. I ended it all by repeating Psalms 121 " I will lift up my eyes unto the hills from whence cometh my help, it cometh from the Lord which made heaven and earth..."

While I laid there too, this came to me and it was not apart of my written declaration but it came in my prayer. I asked the Lord that he show the surgeon all that is wrong with me even though the surgery was to removed fibroid and I wasn't told anything else was wrong, but somehow I felt the need to say that. At the end of the surgery when I was visited by the surgeon and I was told that I also had endometrioisis and ovarian cyst, which they removed also, I bless the Lord. We don't know everything and there are times when we are misdiagnose or certain things just do not show up on the many tests we run. I have had friends who died of cancer because they doctor misdiagnose the situation. I believe with all my heart that God sees and knows everything and we must all put our trust in him when it comes to our health.
